We bought a 4X4 Kubota tractor on 5/17/08.
Getting the kids to help with the chores just got easier!
I'm not sure how many more years I will be able to pull this off!

| In July, 2006, Jo
accompanied me on a business trip to the Pacific Northwest. The
boys spent a week with Grandma & Grandpa while we visited Mt. St.
Helens, Mt. Rainier, and Olympic National Park. The business end
of our trip was spent in Portland, OR where I attended a hydro power
conference. |

| After a long hike through dense fog we finally climbed above
the clouds and were rewarded with a spectacular view of the
mountain. I couldn't resist climbing higher and actually made it all
the way to Camp Muir (elev. 10,000 ft) while Jo headed back to nap in the
car. My 9 mile hike included over 4600 feet of ascent! |
